The PMA Community, Outreach, and Engagement (COE) committee will respond to and build upon recommendations from the PMA COE task force report to improve the overall culture, diversity and climate of the PMA division and its departments. This includes assisting with ongoing programs (e.g. Caltech FUTURE programs, the WAVE program, participation in Cal-Bridge) as well as implementing new sustainable initiatives to improve the overall climate in PMA.

The committee will include representation from undergraduate, graduate, postdoctoral, staff and faculty from each option, with a term of 1 (undergraduate) or 2 years (faculty, staff, postdocs, graduate students). The committee will have an open call for self-nomination each year. Meetings of the full committee take place each month.
